This presentation is being sponsored by the Office for Family Life will be led by Beverly Tauke.   A family counselor, author and speaker, Beverly Hubble Tauke collaborates with church communities throughout the Eastern U.S., and for years facilitated workshops for homeless men and women in Washington, D.C.  Author of Healing Your Family Tree, she has also contributed to books compiled by hosts of Midday Connection, an award-winning nationally syndicated Christian radio program, and has authored articles published in newspapers and magazines.  Her work to detox families impaired by destructive generational habits has been featured in faith-based and mainstream print and electronic media.  Prior to her family counseling work based at Cornerstone Professional Center in Fairfax, Virginia, Bev Tauke managed media operations in the U.S. House and Senate, taught journalism and communications in East Africa, and worked as a writer in Chicago.  She currently serves on the Boards of Bishop Ireton High School, Alexandria, Virginia, and Catholic Charities of the Arlington Diocese, Virginia.  Her graduate education includes a Master of Social Work degree from the Catholic University of America and a Master of Arts degree in communication from Wheaton College.  She and her husband, Tom, have a grown son and daughter and are parishioners at Church of the Nativity in Burke.
